Oh, forgot to mention, I Joined the Ulysses Club (Grow Old Disgracefully! ) and registered the bike on historic plates. Massive savings on government charges and insurance but limited to club events only and local use for tuning/maintenance. Fortunately the Ulysses is such a big club that there are many club events, almost daily!

I am looking for some bits and pieces for the bike, maybe some Australians here can help? An original tool kit would be nice to find or alternatively information as to what it should include.

I would also like to fit some suitable panniers and racks if I can find some. I think the older style second hand would look better than new.

I am thinking I could make my own tail rack to fit a top box as an interim measure.

Thanks very much. I am very new to bikes but soaking up all the info I can. This forum is a great place for knowledge and support.

I finally got my licence to ride this week so have been getting on the road whenever possible. Heading out again this morning for a short run up the coast.
