Unexpected Surprise.
« on: August 21, 2010, 08:22:29 AM »
I got home late today. I got researches to do and assignments to carry out. The lack of sleep is taking its toll on me.

I quickly sat down on my desk chair and quickly sifted through my bookshelf looking for my 2 kilo chemistry book. I was starstruck with what I saw staring at me there:

Don't mind my very manly hello kitty clock.

It came from my uncle who lives in the states, got it from some flea market or whatever. My dad put it on my shelf as a surprise. I quickly took it at my desk to look at its contents:

The thing contains pretty much everything with step by step pictures on how to dismantle, adjust, rebuild, service, clean, maintain, replace, etc..., basically everything on this motorbike.

Hope I could be the one who could answer questions this time.   :D

I've got the BMW shop manual, it's a good source of information .

The manual is written in the context, that you have gone through BMW factory training .

A lot of information is left out, it assumes you already learned this during training, no mention is made of blocking the crankshaft when you remove the flywheel, that little lack of information will cause to have a really bad day !!!!

That is a rare find!  It does assume you have a mechanics background, but provides some valuable information.  If any of the pages are blue, those are the updates that BMW sent out.

Have fun with your discovery!
