Ed,

The forklift was just my benefactors method of loading the bike in the back of the truck.
He had lots of cool toys at his house.  He stored my bike until I could retrieve it.

Seat sets me back from the bars too much. maybe get new bars that come back 4 to 6 inches.

how much for the solo seat Ed?

Sorry about the misunderstanding, I've a "Mono-Shock" standard seat that I replaced with a nicer one I found on fleabay.  Probably fits the R80 as well as the R65 Monos.

Interesting you mention that kind of seat, Steve.  This is a pic of Britta when I picked her up from that retired German butcher from VA in 2003.  She had a Corbin seat similar to the Russell!  I traded even with a guy living in Houston who had a stock seat on his '84 R65 but wanted a Russell or Corbin seat!
