Hello all Very happy to find this site. I'm a long time BMW rider. Got my first in 81 a  R100CS when I was stationed in So Cal. Erv Seaver shop in Santa Ana. Pushed that pure old girl over 200,000 miles. My best friends R65 is way over 300 thow. My little R65 is not stock the frame is braced heavily solo seal. the fork is from a buell and a four shoe drum brake up front. Plus it bored to 720. I like to Tinker. I plan to make it to the RA and MOA rallys. Gotta figure out how to make Vintage days too. Hmmmm OH and I live in the freezer called Mich.  Great to be here.

I was wondering if that is where the front brake came from - not so many 4 shoe brakes were around that I knew of, and I used to work with a guy who rode a water buff and
rebuilt lots of Suzooks.

I found the photo album after changing the "s245" to "www."

The young lady on the motocross bike needs to be wearing more protective gear if she is heading out to the trails.

Well she's got a nice set of boots on, Mike.  That's a good start.

Wow, you really have your work cut out for you to get that back on the street!

I'm always amazed at the inventiveness of our members.  I have enough trouble reassembling stock parts after I pull them off without coming up with extras.

Welcome aboard & keep us posted.

She surely does!

I see you DO like to tinker - an impressive array of machinery. Welcome.

Cheers

The poor girl is obviously cold (tweak, tweak) and appears to have been the victim of a random, drive-by wet tee-shirt gang.

Nice  ;)
