R 65 owners manual
« on: November 27, 2008, 07:27:51 PM »
I have managed to obtain a lot of scanned images of the owners manual ofr the earlier R 65. If anyone is interested I can turn it into a PDF document and post it here. Is anyone interested?

I tried to post it as an attachment but the file is too big! If anyone wants a copy, PM me with your e mail address and I will mail it back to you. I also have the Spanish version of the manual ( manuel?)

I still have my Owner's Manual for the R65 and it's fully intact, including the perforated tab pages for records of maintenance. (I still have the manual for the R50 too.) If anyone is interested and you're not in a hurry (I'm working hard to get back in our house, as well as finish a novel and start to shop it around) I would digitally photograph each page or spread of pages and send them off, unless it's a violation of BMW's copyright and they would object, although I can't imagine why they would.

Colin's efforts are to be applauded. The R65 manual is fun historical reading and very worthwhile info.
I received my copy today and it's a pleasure to read through the information.  [smiley=beerchug.gif]
