Great time tearing around Vashon Island last week, then the lovely evening ferry ride home. Mmmmmm.

You know, if you decide to chop up Blueberry you need to let Barbara have your other seat.  She's said she really felt the last ride to Ken's.  Claims the seat's gettin' harder...

Likelihood of Joan chopping up the Blueberry:   (gif: snowball not making it to h3ll)

Of all the mods I've done to any motorcycle over the years, this is the one I'd do again, for twice or three times the cost. Rich transformed the Blueberry from two hours-to-b*ttburn to a multiday event platform of GREAT comfort.

Only takes one day and I know a great place you can stay.  :)

Good to hear from you once again, Joan!

I got a kick out of those ears on your helmet, too.  I've always wanted to pick up one of those "mohawk" strips that come in flourscent colors and put it on my helmet the next time I go on any "real" trip away from home, just for laughs.  Kind of breaks up the staid and stodgy image so many people have of those who ride BMWs, don't you think?  ;)

And yeah, "Blueberry" does indeed look good!   [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Well John, there is that trip to Willville thing coming up in about 8 days...
Bet if you ordered one of these rainbow-colored mohawks right away it would be here just in time for the trip! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I'm sure that, with your fluorescent rainbow mohawk helmet attachment, you would be a huge hit in the quaint, quiet village of Meadows of Dan.  ::)

Only problem I see is that you've got just 8 days to learn how to do huge smoking burnouts, squealing stoppies, and sundry other squidly stunts on your R65...  ;)

No tickets since sticking on the tiger ears.  ;D

Well, okay, no tickets before that, but the nice officers are even more FUN to talk with since getting the ears. Yeah. That's it.

And in traffic people are always doing wild stunts to get close enough to me (in their cars) so they can weave over with the window down and scream "I LOVE YOUR EARS!"

I dunno how well a mohawk would go over with the constabulary.

When I took the BikeSafeNC class from the highway patrol, one of the students (a twenty-something woman) showed up with a mohawk on her helmet.  When we were discussing visability, the NCSHP Officer who was teaching the class walked around to point out all the dark helmets (except our bright yellow ones) and he commented that he loved the mohawk as it would definitely increase your visibility to others!   ::)

So go for it, John!  I'd love to see it at Willville...
