"Search" feature is missing?

I've never seen a search feature here.
Was that a sole privilege of Moderators and Administrators? ;)

No, not a privilege.  

The reason I needed it was I kept forgetting the phrase "USB hard drive"...something I hope to rectify (backing up my hard drive, that is) soon!
