Hi, I have found you
« on: December 17, 2006, 08:54:48 AM »
Just to tell you all that I am back, thanks to Melena who sent me a pm telling me where to find you.

We are having the warmest fall and winter ever, or at least since 1871 when recording began; had it not been for the very wet conditions I would have ridden the wh8la2 a lot more but at least she has not been laid up for the winter yet - I still hope to take a couple of rides more before winter hits us with slippery and salty roads.

Greetings from a north with clear skies and warm, for the season anyway, weather

Hey, trolle!! [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]

So glad to know you have found your way to the new (and improved, IMHO) site!  I really missed your "weather conditions" that you sign off your postings with!  I tried to do one recently, but it just wasn't the same.  You have the exclusive rights to that sign-off!  ;)

Hope to see more from you in the future!

Greetings from a sunny south, temps in the low 60s!  8-)  (See, it just ain't the same!)

Well, trolle, might as well chime in with my own weather report.  Greetings from Ft. Worth, TX, where it is currently a balmy 77 degrees.  But, colder and wetter starting tomorrow with it struggling to get out of the 50s...

Sydney - cooler breezer today, but 28 C ( 82-85 F ????) all the same.

Should be a cooler christmas - I'm not complainng but when its 40+ degrees, I seem to drink a lot of beer, really quickly,  or we usually end up getting called out to a bush fire!!!
Will be good.

Sydney sounds good to me, but I don't fight fires.  I try to keep the shrubbery and flamables away from my house.

I went out this morning, armoured and ready to ride, and about fell on my butt:  it went down to 30 degrees after all the rain last night.

I drove my car, with 4 tires, and which doesn't tip over on ice.

Well, Ed, at least you had your armour on!  I hate it when you need the armour just to walk out to the bike.   ;D  So sorry you didn't get to ride your bike though.  Seems like there's a series of storms coming across from the arctic down across the North West.  Christmas may be damper than was expected.

It rained buckets here  yesterday.  But the rain brought warmer weather here.  It was foggy this morning, what with all the moisture, cooler air and warm ground.   A nice tule fog in the valleys that cuts the visibility to 1/4 mile or less seems to be a December and January thing around Northern California.

Right about now your Sydne weather sounds really nice, milkman!  Ahh, but spring is just around the corner now.  We are now just past the winter solstice and the days will be getting longer.   [smiley=Norton.gif]
