When I've tried to go in, the page keeps reloading itself every 10 seconds or so.

Maybe that'll stop if I "chatted"??

The page refreshes to pull new messages from the chat server, otherwise you would just be sitting there staring at a blank screen!

It is a little different than other chat rooms in that regard, but as Justin points out, this is a free thing.
