I'm here. Busy working 50+ hour weeks. But that's normal. haha
I'm FINALLY on the 'put it back together' stage on the R45. And being patient waiting on parts. This 'stay at home' crap is annoying. I could normally order parts and they'd be here in about a week. I waited a MONTH for parts from Max. Come on people, I only have one day every other week to wrench, stop buying parts. LOL
Today I had time after work to see how my two new bee 'nucs' are settling in, then I grabbed my long awaited order of bits out of my office and got the carbs put back together. My next day off isn't until next Thursday, and its mostly 12 hour shifts. Yuck.
I ride the baby GS to work when I'm in the mood. None of the cops here care if you are out having fun on your bike. Not like any of them are going to waste time stopping and interrogating you. yay!!
I'm hoping to have the 45 ready for its first firing up by end of July. I'm pretty sure I have everything I need to get it back together, but, as always, there's something that will need to be ordered. hahaha
I even have a specialty plate for it. Any vehicle 40+ years old qualifies for "Horseless Carriage" plates. One time registration fee, and you never have to renew it. But there are restrictions on how often you can operate it. Since this isn't going to be a daily driver for me, I'm good. :-)
