New here, but not new to BMW
« on: March 04, 2017, 03:52:15 PM »
I signed onto the forum in hopes of finding an R65 I can afford.  I've had an R90 and an R100, but as I've gotten older I'd like something smaller.  I'm in central Florida, near Orlando and starting to look for an R65.

Welcome aboard!   We do keep our eyes open for them, so this isn't a bad place to visit.  You could also put in a "wanted" ad in the www.ibmwr.org marketplace, there are generally trustworthy people there.

Also, try using:
www.searchtempest.com           to search all Craiglist and ebay listings within your desired range... I see there is a customized R65 for sale in Miami, but I suspect that really isn't what you want (and the price is rather ridiculous, IMO).

Thanks for the welcome.  I'm definitely not looking for custom or ridiculous price!  I'd like to find a nice rider or one that needs some tlc, but stock is my preferred choice.
