Nice looking machine, it will be interesting to see if the fairing (I love those fairings) impacts on weight at low speed.

Can you let us know if you can feel that?

Chris - I had a '95 R100RT and the bike was so balanced it was practically like riding a naked bike at low speeds.

I have a seen a couple up close recently and they are big bikes! Never ridden one so can't comment on how they feel on the road.

The weight seems higher up than the older R series, so maybe that's the issue?

Chris - IIRC my R100RT was a bit over 500 lbs where the R1150RT is a hair under 700 lbs, and a lot of the weight is at the top thanks to the ABS stuff.
