Oh! and a large helping of his courage would be nice too.

Need all three for sure. Some folks just have the courage and the  outcome can get real messy

After the full 17 minutes of that video I was actually starting to feel queasy!  I haven't the stones for that kind of riding...  :P

I cannot think that fast.. watched the highlights last night Super stock I think, one high speed spill filmed by the rider behind incredibly no injuries then a coming together on a bend where the following bike could not slow down fast enough and clipped the rear of the lead bike.. both stayed upright.. ish gripping stuff.

Been watching the IOM coverage and wondering if my hearing is totally failing me . I'm only picking up 1/2 what the pit announcer is saying. He speaks too fast and when he finishes a sentence he tails off dramatically at the end.

Is it just me?

Like all my stuff, looks like my ears are going out on me too.

Aint that the beauty of the English language  you say potatoes we say Spuds.. You say Hood we have a Bonnet yet technically we both have a have a Boot.
Frankly I have spent years transiting the pond and its the differences the make the trip attractive .

LOL that's probably the problem.

Couldn't understand half of what the announcers were saying, and I have a fairly good ear for accents and dialects.  So I turned on the closed caption feature of the telly.  That lasted about a minute and it was about 15 seconds behind and the cc didn't even try to caption one of the announcers.

They could try sign language... but even that has differences between American and English.

I was married to an English girl, in my younger days, and I think the reason we went our separate ways is we could never understand what the other one was talking about.  :D
Keep your bike in good repair: motorcycle boots are not comfortable for walking.

I read this morning where another rider has passed...... He was a sidecar guy.

Did it happen in the sidecar race we watched last night on Velocity or was there another race earlier today? I'm confused about whats going on and when with the time zone stuff

Another sidecar pilot died during sidecar race 2 held on Friday. 58-year old Ian Bell was accompanied by his passenger son when the rig crashed. Bell's son was uninjured
