September in North Texas...
« on: September 01, 2015, 11:31:45 AM »
... ain't no different than blazin' August. It's still damn hot and will be for quite some time to come. My motorcycle riding is done early, early mornings for a breakfast ride or just out to hit some of the twisty FM (Farm-To-Market) roads just n'west of town.

Look who was waiting for me this morning, September 1st. If you're gonna ride with me, at least wear a helmet.

With all due respect to Arizonian Bob Roller, just ask Tony Shaw, our man in Cumbria, about the Summer temps in the western states of 'Murica. Stay frosty, my brothers.

We may not get the 100* + temps here in "jawja" but the humidity is nearly always close to 100%. To me that is just as bad. I can take a shower, get dressed and before I get the bike out of the garage I am as wet as if I had been caught in a rainstorm.
Keep your bike in good repair: motorcycle boots are not comfortable for walking.
