I lost my bag with laptop and passport to a "backrider" bag snatch in Makati Avenue, the main drag of Manila CBD. Not exactly the quietest or darkest of streets!
Sorry to hear about that. I'm actually surprised that riding in tandem snatchers are at Makati Avenue at all. It's supposed to one of the more secure places in Metro Manila. Crooks are getting more and more desperate these days.
Good to see an R65 rider in Manila! I don't recall ever seeing one on the road there.
I've only seen another R65 once. It was two years ago at my university. A female engineering freshman was using it.
I wouldn't mind seeing her without all that safety gear.
