Hi to All,
I am Martin or Toon, I live in Western Australia 50km's south of Perth the capital.
I have recently inherited a 1986 R65. black and pretty well stock. The father in law was a bare bike enthusiast having  had and built many bikes over the years from early model BSA, Nortons to having 5 or 6 BMW's over the years. He has a very early club registered R75 which he sold to cover expenses of funeral etc.
I have never been into early bikes to ride but like the look and history. After riding the R65 for the last week, even in the freezing cold mornings, I am very surprised and happy with the performance.
Shaft drive is new to me as well, and a few rattles and clunks I will identify as time goes on. Not used to the rigidness of the bike but getting there. Happy with the torque and she likes to move up the rev's.
I also received a 2012 Kawasaki W800 and ride a Honda REPSOL replica 250 as my daily, till now.
I will load up a few picture later to day after work.
Thanks.

Welcome!

Yes, we're assembling quite a little group down under, though as you'd expect, there some on the west end and some on the east end, and no one in the middle of that big country.

That Kawi W800 is a nice bike too!
