i am at it again but have learned from my mistakes. so i re did the back bone and seat rails a little. nice having another frame that had the nech cut off so i can still ride this one. i should have the new improved frame done early next week. i am not going to use that harly looking tank and found a honda dream tank with the chrome side panels, plus it has alot more gallons. i can then tuck alot of the stuff that was on the back bone back there again. i am also adding some gussetts on the back and replacing the rear brake arm mount with the gusset.
i have a set of mufflers that are louder than i really want but will work out nice for what i am doing. in replacing the back bone i raised it a little plus kicked the rake out 5 more degrees which will make it like a long wheel base bike with out it being on of those silly long chopper looking front ends. (chopper front end? i know its a springer

)
also working real hard on setting up so i can run my givi hard bags so when i take a longer trip i have more than a back pack and a tank bag.
i rode this for a month set up like a stock frame kind of cafe'd and boy did it flex. once i went to the welded seat mounts which tied the rear of the frame together boy. and i still dropped a bunch of weight on this thing even though it doesnt look like it.
steve if i can find another frame i would build you one easy, shipping would be killer though. i do have a friend that lives on that side of the pond that does stuff just like this and if you asked he could do one easy, plus the bloke is smart as a tack about this stuff, i pick his grey matter alot and bounce ideas off him just so i know my numbers are right.
