Looks overly 'styled' to me.  Like most modern bikes.

Get them poncy furniture designers out of the motorcycle design teams - please.

Hurumph!

It doesn't look like a motorcycle to me unless the oily bits are on view.

Sticking out is better still.

BMW seems to be utilizing several different engine manufacturers for some of the newer Beemer models. These snazzy BMW scooters are powered by Kymco engines.

Little by little we will get accustom to viewing these things...  Just as automobiles once had a distinctive look about them, these too will succumb to the oneness that modernity compels.   :'(

And that is why as fast as they make them all look the same there will be someone that customizes it and makes it their own.
Keep your bike in good repair: motorcycle boots are not comfortable for walking.

I'm with everyone on the looks. However, on the return journey to pick up my GS, I have to say I really started to enjoy it. It is a blast to ride. I didn't need to use the storage under the seat, but I imagine that is a nice feature also.

Another negative though, .....you can't blip the throttle at the lights.

Barry, yes I think it's the CVT keeping the engine at constant revs that spoils what probably would otherwise be an OK engine sound.

Cool customs Marc!

You'll miss foot pegs from time to time; overall, I'm sure you'll find value in the machine.
