Scrambler project parts from MAX BMW
« on: November 30, 2012, 08:40:33 AM »
I see that in the latest BMWMOA ON magazine, that MAX BMW has created an R75/5 scrambler, and is now selling parts kits so that you can build your own.  They show a high crossover and taped header set that goes into a dual inlet muffler, somewht like the "new" Triumph scramblers, extended fender mounts, knobbies, what appears to be a Mayer solo seat and sectioned fuel tank.  I'd post pics, but photobucket has changed and I haven't figured out how to get the links from the uploaded images with their new interface...  anyhow looks interesting.

Here's a link to a similar exhaust, couldn't find a kit for the entire conversion .

Holy Cow, $3,600 for an exhaust!  And who would want to put one on a 69S anyhow?  That's just nuts.
