As posted hereabouts a few days ago, scottyintx had a low speed incident with his R65 sidecar rig that cracked the chair chassis in two places.
Fast forward five days and Scotty and his wife pull into Perry's Motorcycyles and Sidecars in Fort Worth just two minutes after I arrive. Meeting any R65 forum member in person is fun. Hence my R65 ride to Cow Town in very hot Texas weather. Was worth it to meet Mr and Mrs Scotty plus see all the BMWs -with and w/o chairs- at the dealership.
Scotty was in deep discussions with shop owner Perry Bushong when I headed north around 2:30. Very hot temps. Poured a bottle of water on my Luckenback (TX) Harvest Fest Motorcycle t-shirt, zipped up my vented jacket, geared up and headed the herd north. Rawhide! rollin' rollin' rollin'...
Here's Scotty gently rolling backwards off his beautiful all-aluminum trailer. Ooo! Trailer lust.
Squint hard. That's my R65 in the background.

Perry's is the epicenter of sidecar work in the Southwest. Not just BMW outfits, but also American iron and other furrin' machines. The business site is quite large and a crew of mechanics were very busy. All I could see were elbows and one very large Plumbers Butt. Busy place.
This photo is the wall mural inside one of several work spaces. The stairs seen in the lower left of the pic lead to a museum of sorts on the second floor. One-liter Lavera is the prize up there.

Monte and Scotty "on the porch" with a couple perfect early BMWs.

Unsure what the Scotsman's next move is but like the outhouse mouse, I await with baited breath.
Nice to meet you, too, Becky. Hope to see you at the Bluebonnet for some pie.
