I only get 40mpg, but I'm blaming imperial vs US gallons in the calculation, plus that right wrist has trouble twisting slowly.

The one and only advantage of the smaller engine is over the last 6000 miles I've averaged 63.8 mpg  Imp (53.2 mpg US).

Best ever has been 70 mpg Imp and worst 57 mpg Imp
