Years ago when the brotherhood of riders was much closer we always waved or nodded when passing or approaching another bike and would never pass a broken down bike without offering help. I still wave or nod but notice it is very hard to get one back these days, a pity really as it always made me feel like I belonged to a big family with a common interest. Aussie Ken. :'( :'( :'(

Always wave unless circumstances deem unsafe to do so. I love the feeling of camraderie too! If there is none in return it's OK as long as I don't spend too much time on the "why they didn't". Lots of reasons I guess for others not to wave...good ones and weak ones.
1983 R65LS - LRB still my favourite!? 1988 Honda NX250, "Toodles Too" and a Suzuki DR650, "Calypso." All stored in the "Brrrmmm Closet".
