These guys can supply you the fiberglass/cowl parts and can possibly steer you toward an upholstery/saddle-maker.

Are you looking for a cafe style solo seat or a stock solo seat like Rob has on his R65? I have a cafe seat that came on one of the bikes I bought that I was going to put on eBay. It is not a fiberglass seat but one the previous owner had custom made. It has a modified stock seat pan and still uses the stock hinges and locking pin (they are on it). The turtle deck out back is steel and has a hinged access hatch from the bottom for storage. If you might be interested let me know and I will take a couple of pics and post them.

It is quite easy to just make your own solo seat even if you are only slightly handy. Pictured below is my solo effort. It was made from a dual seal. It was cut just at the rear of the seat where the R65 cowl screws onto and then cut just behind where the middle of the dual seat would be. I then made a cowl from 1.6 sheet steel and welded it to the seat to make a single unit. I then made up another hinge hook and welded it to the inside of the cowling. After that its just a case of upholstery.
Came out pretty good and only took about 6 hours of acutual manufacturing time.

As much as I really like the clean looks of the solo style seats, I gotta say I like being able to slide around alot on my stock seat.

I really wish that I knew how to weld -
