FYI: Shoei RF1000 Helmet closeout sale@BikeBandit

Just in case anyone is looking for a new helmet - as I was earlier this year..

I was placing an order for some new organic EBC brake pads for Tillie, the R65LS, @ BikeBandit and noticed that they were selling many RF1000 Shoei helmets at ~ $285 apiece now in a closeout/end of year sale.   As I seem to have a Shoei-head and wanted to get one of these earlier in the year - but didn't as the cheapest I found was around $340 at the time and I didn't have any clients in sight- I added one (size XL) to my order in their rather high-vis metallic yellow color.


I thought that I'd pass along the closeout sale price info in case anyone else had been planning to get an RF1000 helmet this year - it seems to be a good price.  I have had pretty good experiences buying from Bike Bandit as well - not always the cheapest, but fairly competitive.

I wish I had a Shoei head, as I love the quality evident in those helmets.  I'm kind of used to my flip up Symax II now though.
