Bob,

A little late to the party, but I'm in Portland and would be glad to check out the r65 for you.  I'm also selling an r65, but not an LS, and understand the LS attraction so I won't give you the hard sell on my 79.  Anyway - let me know - I know the bike that you're talking about.

Justin?  Do you go to the Airhead tech days?  Who's bike is the LS, as I don't remember seeing one around up there.

Haven't been to one yet (I've been saying that for 5 years!!).  The Airmarshal (or someone very involved with the Oregon chapter) is a contractor in PDX and was working on a house across the street from mine - he introduced himself to me last year, but I haven't been to a tech session yet.  Need to go as I just bought a slash 5 and want to learn more (also have been saying that for 5 years).

As for the LS, I don't know who owns it, but I noticed it on Craig's List over the past month.  Not sure what the condition is, but the description indicated the owner moved to Oregon from California and rode the moto up.  Doesn't ride anymore, though, or so the story goes.

Hopefully it is because he is still employed and being overworked.

Or maybe he is somewhere between Oregon and home?

I may have missed it, was he talking 'bout a trip? I'm tempted to check on his ranch this weekend.

No, I was teasing because he considered flying up to Oregon and riding the LS home.

Yes, I think you should drop by... and be sure to take paper and pen along so you can leave a note in case he is at work.

Okay, did anyone here ever contact or go check on Bob?
it's now been 24 days since he's logged on or posted, and we all know Bob never went 24 hours without getting into a discussion about something on this board.

Not to be an alarmist or play mother hen here, but I mean, damn, you know?
This is highly unusual behavior
Anyone have another contact for him, or know his family, any friends, etc?  :-?

Well I know Bob sent me a get well card of course after the July 28th accident so he was home then I assume. I can't imagine that he sent the card immediately...let's assume in early August? Gee it does kinda become worrisome doesn't it !!??  Too much bad news thread still rings in my ears. Come on Bob; check in here!!
