Thanks for the feedback on your Progressive springs, I've heard good things about the BMW Heavy Duty springs as well.  I don't even know if they are still available - haven't checked in a long time.

I was gonna cut my own spacers out of PVC pipe to experiment with, I haven't heard of anyone having a problem using it.  I plan on cleaning it up real well so no debris to float around and foul things up.  The routine is to make your PVC a bit long and test it.  Make notes.  Keep trimming it until you go too far the other way (too short).  Then pick the length you liked best and cut another one for your permanent spacer....or make one out of aluminum if you like since you now have your final size.  I used PJ1 10w once upon a time but the damping was too harsh.  Switched it to BelRay 5w and like that much better.....just gotta sort out the preload / spring combination now.  I might experiment with 7.5w too if I get ambitious, that might be where I end up, who knows.  5'6" 180# / Konis on the rear FWIW.  I guess this thread kinda morphed into a tech discussion...

That's pretty weird thread degradation.
