FYI - the techs got their technical info on the F800 and the new F650s last week for the 1st part of the training.  The 2nd part starts this week.  Then the Sales reps get trained and THEN we might see the actual bikes!  At least I can see some light...

No shiny brochures from BMW yet, but one of our customers brought us some one page glossies from the International Bike show. That's pretty bad when the dealer gets their first 'brochures' from a customer!!!

Sweet. Thanks for the head's up, Aida. I was at Carolina BMW Saturday the 13th and asked about the F800s, but they didn't have much info to share and no brochures either.
I'll hit 'em up again when I go to get that roundel...

They're HERE!!!  The Charcoal F800ST came into the store today.  Greensboro also got one of them.  So you can trot on down and sign up for a demo anytime now.    

   Life is NOT FAIR!!! It is WAY TOO TALL!   [smiley=cry.gif]  Our mechanic even said they couldn't drop it low enough for me because the exhaust would bottom out.  It's a beautiful bike, though.  I really like the color.  We should get the S version in next week.

Neither yet, unfortunately, Aida.
It appears there is some vast conspiracy being perpetrated between my employer, doctor, and children to keep me tired, sick, and/or broke, whichever is necessary at any given time to prevent me from having fun.  [smiley=drowning.gif] I don't much like it either, not a damn bit!
Got to get waaaaaaaay more serious about this early semi-retirement thing... [smiley=wall.gif]
But, that being said, it is my fervent hope to make it to Greensboro this coming weekend and at least take an F800 for a quick blast around the block.
Were you at Capital last Saturday? Did you have a big turnout for the F800s? Any rider impressions you can share yet??

Haven't been back yet.  I've changed to Wednesdays for my work day so I can stay home and watch the races on Speed on Tuesdays...  semi-retirement is grand!!!
