Motorcycle Jacks

Could someone help me out with some dimensions on the motorcyclejack that they have? I need the fully collapsed height  of the the jack, and also the length of the lifting pads. I'm building a fixture that bolts onto the engine mount studs, and then put the jack under the bike and lift it to avoid any damage to the oilpan. Thanks .

Hmmm, mine cranks up to about 3 feet, 'bout 6-7 inches when all the way down.   Approx. 6 ft long, 2.5 ft wide, and doesn't touch the oil pan.    Oh, and I love the crap out of it!!! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Actually it's one of those ride-on Harbor Freight lifts.  For years I had talked myself into thinking I didn't have room for one and then the realization hit me that they really didn't take up any more room than a motorcycle.  So, the one I have is in the back of the garage and always has a bike parked on it so I suffer no room penalty.  If I need to work on anything I just shuffle things around.

Yep, we have a lift as well.  Invested in it when we built the garage.  Always either keep a motorcycle on it, or he uses it as a tool rack when he's working on the car.  We got ours at Northern (Hydraulic - when we bought it.. now it's Tools).  The only thing I would change is to buy one that is air driven so pumping it up would be easier, but no real biggy.  Keeps the legs in shape!  

Can't help with the dimensions of a motorcyclejack, though.
