Great!  Doesn't look a mile over 29,000.  Keep it rolling and hope your odometer keeps working.  Mine went screwy (technical term) at 43,000, so I'm making hash marks in my maintainance book until I can get the speedometer fixed.

That is one beautiful motorcycle!  ::)  (mine is Bronco Brown, also!)

You might want to reconsider those header shields, though.  I have heard they can contribute to retaining heat.

We won't get started on the "engine protection bars"...

The PO put all that on.
I have thought about taking off the header shields, along with the mud flap on the back of the front fender (rear one came off a couple of weeks ago). The "engine guards" are staying.  That's what I tie my cover to to keep it from blowing away.

I got my new rear rack, so I will be doing some beatification soon.

If you want the lowdown on engine protection bars, go to Boxerworks and do a search on crashbars(?).  Or just cut to the chase, and read Duane Ausherman's page: http://w6rec.com/duane/bmw/crashbars/index.htm

I think the Airheads are one of the few bikes that look god with the crash potection bars.
Maybe I need some header sheilds on mine. Sometimes when I rest my feet out on the "highway pegs" crash bars, I melt a bit of my sole on the headers. I know I could just put my feet down, but thats beside the point.

PS I know its dangerous and the issue crash bars can present, but I only do it rarely on the long straight stretches . And I like my crash bars......

And, crash bars make it easier to pick your bike up if it falls over in the grass, kinda like "rockers"  ::)

Hard luggage is good for that too... ;)

Think twice before removing your front mudflap.  I get all the flat rear tires (five in one year  :o  ), my hubby's had none... he has the front mudflap!  :-/
