Not for the purist but have to say it's a nice job of something halfway between detail and a bit of fun?  Obviously he's not intending to part with it at that price so not sure why's it's up for sale either, but nothing like a fresh job to try catch someone off guard!

Wow.  I was curious about the "stock" vs. "custom" debate with these older BMWs, and that one is quite interesting - definite points for the custom crowd.  Love the wheels and tires, and how he parted with some of the body plastic.  Not as keen on a brown seat or chrome front fender, but it does remind me of the R NineT scrambler color scheme a bit.

Its all black and chrome, black and chrome  and he puts a BROWM plank on it for a seat,  WTF!....oh, I guess he tied it in whithe ONE BROWN grip>

I'm not a fan at all ( cud ya tell?)  His license plate looks crumpled, bracketry hanging under the seeat with holes in it and knobby tires, yes KNOBBY TIRES!!!! why ? Is trying to make a freaking dirt bike out of it?

I've seen some customs that passed muster, usually done by a qualified shop with "some" design expertise, but for my eyes this one is pure bike butchery.
