Not sure I notice any change, possibly a bit better from neutral to first. I'll know once i've done a few miles. Potential worry removed though.
I think the problem is me. If I am on the ball and concentrate on preload and then a fast positive change - then all is good. it's when I mis-time it or dither and change at low revs (2,000 or below) we have the problem.
I have broken car gearboxes in my time

A Saab turbo (260BHP version twice chasing Audis or Astons), a Saab diesel (second gear snap-ring same fault as the turbo), Vauxhall Cavalier (cooked it chasing something!). Never broken a bike box, yet!
