I knocked one of these up and it works very well. I'd set the bike using my friend's gauges complete with wobbly needles and restrictors and the bike ran fine.

Watching an R100 idling like a swiss watch on Youtube prompted me to make an electronic version. The idle on one side was about 1/8 out (a lot) and over 1/4 out at 3000RPM (throttle cable).

She is a different machine now. I understand the 'two engines on one crankshaft' scenario also. Idle is rock solid and transition smoother. 1050 RPM +- 50 when she's hot according to my electronic tacho. No wavering.

I bought two sets of cheap Arduino stuff from China so am knocking another up for my friend (who has MIG...).

Recommended and about£50 or less to build.

Hello,
I do not know of this project, but I use a Grok harmonizer for a long time.
Grok dir a very fine job, and very industrial looking. Since it's passing, Katdash ( www.katdash.com ) have taken over building and selling.
IMHO, if you do want a perfect synched bike and do not want to get your fingers involved, this is the way to go !
