12 V Heated gloves for a 1983 r65 LS

As winter is upon us here in the NE USA, I wanted to check out some heated gloves. However I am not sure if the electrical system on the bike can handle  them. I was looking at some Gerbring models, but could not find the current draw on the sites I looked at. The whole electrical system (Diode board, voltage regulator, rotor etc.) was changed in 2015. Any thoughts appreciated.

I have Gerbing heated gloves @ 30 watts and  Gerbing Jacket/jacket liner @ 80 watts....

MY ignition switch has a spot where I can run with no Headlight if there is an issue. There isn't much that is compelling enough for me to ride at night needing heated gear 8-)

 You should not have a problem with running gloves even with your head light on
If you want to run  gloves and a vest at the same time it will be marginal
If you switch all of your bulbs to LED you will have no problem at all running gloves and the vest

I can run a heated vest heated grips and  Aux  LED Flood light plus all the stock LED lighting with no problem

LED bulbs make High output charging systems almost obsolete

I just about get by down to -5 C  by heating my ordinary gloves and liners on a hot radiator before I set off on a 4 mile commute to work.  Any further than a few miles would make heated gloves essential though.

Things that help:
A good PWM type heat controller
Handguards
ATV Mitts / Hippo Hands

With handguards and ATV mitts I find I rarely use electric gloves anymore - they are just too bulky.
