Good day all,  I know everyone who has read this post has been biting their nails wondering what the problem was.   ;)  So the weather up here has been most uncooperative this spring ( it snowed the last two day, thankfully it hasn't stuck around).  So I popped the top of the carb off to check out the diaphragms.  First one looks good, BOOM second one had a great big rip through it.  These guys( and gals) on the R65 forum are freaken brilliant!!  So I ordered up the parts and waited. And waited and waited.   Finally the parts showed up.  So I changed both diaphragm ( because if you only change one the other ones gonna go bad shortly after :) ).  After that I changed the oil and filter at the same time.  Today was nice out (mid 50s :D)  So I took out the bike and fired it up.  IT RUNS!! YEAY.....crap whats that smell?  GAS.  well shut it off and off when the gas.  No idea what was wrong but I started at the top ( what I worked on yesterday)  I pulled the needle and looked around in there.  Nothing seemed wrong so I put it back together and no more gas leaking.  Yippy.  Fired it back up and let it warm up while I put my gear on.  Took it for a spin aaaaaaannnnnnnddddd??????   It runs AWESOME!! it pulls all the way thru the rpms and is just great to have it running nice and smooth again.  So now that you are board of reading my really long post I want to say thank you to everyone that helped figure out what the heck was wrong.  Now I have to get back to my ride. :)  Have a great day all.
Dont worry and be happy!
