R65 Instrument hub caps

I'm wondering if the standard R65 intrument 'hub caps' as BMW calls them, upper and lower, will simply bolt-on to an LS, sans the Hans Muth parts.

I think that it should, provided that the indicator light arrangement in between the speedo & tach matchup.  I'd probably look for used parts to try out before spending the cash on those parts new from BMW - wowzah that is some pricey plastic!
