You didn't say if had rained while the bike sat a work, but it's pretty common to get water caught in the cylinder head, area, after riding the water boils and hisses until it's gone, probably a more likely scenario than a loose spark plug .

I think that's a "bingo!" It did rain during the afternoon at work. Wow.

Bummer, thought I solved a problem.
