Installing Heated Grips
« on: May 07, 2007, 07:11:24 PM »
Anyone had any experience installing BMW heated grips on the R 65? Curious as to where to hook up the electrical connections after routing them through the bars, where to conect to power source, etc.The grips come with a male and female connector that looks like it should connect in line with an existing connector, but the only one I can find under the tank that matches is the clutch interlock switch wire. My grips came with no instructions. I have an 1980 R65, any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

I think they plug into the accessory plug under the tank on our '82 LS...
