Further to my ongoing diaphragm problems i decided to test some of the addative on some rubber sheet the photos before and after one hour of exposure say it all, methinks the lawnmower is going to enjoy the contents of my fuel tank and i will run without addative from now on if anyone thinks running without addative will cause any problem please let me know.

I was using Marvel Mystery oil (2oz per 5 gals).  I switched to SeaFoam (3oz per 5 gals) until the red paint started coming of the walls of my tank.

Now I using nothing until I get my tank lined.   :(

Wow!  I use Sea Foam in my car and was thinking of tossing some in the bike but if it is dissolving the lining, forget it!

It is supposedly realy good for the o-rings.  Prevents them from drying out due to the alcohol in the fuel now.  So I'm not giving up on sea foam yet.  I just need to take care of the tank.

I wonder what people blamed carb problems on before the gas had ethanol.   8-)
