Hi Remolon,

When you renew the carbs be forwarned: the idle jet is on the bottom corner of the float bowl!  Many people miss this important jet!!

Do your carbs Flat Tops or Dome Tops?

Good luck,

It is a good idea to replace your fuel hoses periodically.  I like the old stuff BMW provided, so I replace mine every 2-3 years.

You should also drain the fuel tank and remove the petcock to check out what kind of dirt there might be in there, as well.  I do this every year when putting it up for the winter.

remolon,
Best of luck on the carb rebuild.  Here's some picture links for you if you need them. Lots of carb experience on this forum if you have any questions while you're into them.
