LED tail lights
« on: March 01, 2007, 01:47:25 PM »
Has anyone out there had any experience with the Motorrad Electrik LED tail lights? Has anyone out there bought anything from them, is it a safe company to do business with. With the sidecar I have two tail lights....most of my riding is in the city with stop and go traffic. Figure the LED lights will not draw as much power.

Scotty, you mean these folks,  http://www.motoelekt.com/ignition.htm , down in Alabama?
If so, yeah, several of us have gotten coils, wires & plugs, all sorts of BMW electricals from them.
They're very good folks, have great prices and ship quickly too! Highly recommended!

I have one of their LED units on my /5. They are a good company and Rick Jones (owner) is top notch. You will pay $50 through them. Highly recommended.

I put the LED unit in my tail/brake light about 3 years ago.  I love it.

The connectors were not perfect, but for the price and performance, who cares!

Did I say I love it?

You have NO WORRIES with Rick.  He stands behind his products and runs an honorable business.

Also had good experience here with this company.  Bought the front and rear running LED lights.  It was an easy install and it stands out at night.

Full endorsement for Motorrad Elektrik from me as well! If you ever need to replace your ignition coil, they have some of the best prices on Dyna coils and you get a mounting bracket as well, for $80 at this time.
