Top Box Rack fitting on 1988 R65 Mono
« on: July 16, 2009, 12:54:03 PM »
Hi everybody. I have paid out lots of money for a Hepco-Becker Top box Rack, part Number 650.605 01 01. However the instructions are only in German and as I only speak English its not much use. I emailed Hepco-becker and the reply just said sorry only got them in German. So much for customer service. I know its not too difficult but I do not want to put the spacers supplied in the wrong place as it could cause some damage. There are 4 plastic washer/spacers and 2 ally spacers. Does anyone know where they fit or have a diagram that shows them fitted.
thanks for any help that can be offered.

I have the OEM BMW 22L trunk on my '95 RT but I doubt they are the same.  Maybe you could scan/photograph your instruction diagrams and post them, someone might be able to help, then...

Its actually only a frame I am trying to install. the instruction sheet  should be available at the link below but for some reason now my pc will not down load it. Incidently I tried using the Google translator on some of it, I was having trouble understanding the translation when it said I had to 'DELETE' the rear mudguard.
