It looks like one of the few cases where thicker, stronger than original is not a good thing .

What was the cost difference between a Bing OEM part, and an aftermarket part ?

Mark if you want to meet up on your way up north let me know i will stand you a drink in Blind Jacks (Knaresborough) pm me ....Fountains Abbey is one of the most spiritual places ive ever been i do not consider my self to be a religious person but that room at the abbey with all the echo pots built in the walls where the monks used to chant (im sure theres a name for it) made my hair stand on end as soon as i walked in it maybe one of the god members can explain this phenomenon to me.

Lou, Thanks for the offer, if the temperature feels right I'll broach the question with her that must be obeyed.

Monte, I hear you.  At least I don't have to suffer my boss's fate - he returns tomorrow from a two-week Mediterranean cruise that I know has cost him more than most of the people that work for him earn in a year - and he's a bigger tightwad than me!  I know my wife and I will have a great time.
