Main Jet Holder - stuck

Rebuilding the carbs this weekend and have a main jet holder that is stuck in the carb.  Tried penetrating oil, heating the aluminum body of the carb, and lot's of elbow grease.  The hex head is starting to round off.    >:(

Any and all ideas welcomed.

If you try PB Blaster, be sure to wear rubber gloves - or be prepared for a heck of a headache afterwards - that brand of penetrating stuff quickly absorbs through skin, and well, causes some truly colorful headaches in many folks (including me).

Heat worked for me, it takes quite a bit to soften that gum that forms around the threads and the 'o'rings on some of the jets stop the penetrating fluid getting to the threads.
I broke one jet (before resorting to heat) but managed to drill it out and finish with a screw remover.

Heat worked for me too. It took maybe 10 heat cool cycles applying WD40  through the needle jet and air hole. No use from below it won't get past the O ring. I really thought it was going to shear and it was a very good feeling when it finally started to move.

after 3 days of trying all suggestion given here and elsewhere, heat, 3 kinds of pentrating oils and catalysts and a lot of brut force the Jet Holder was finally extracted.  And subsequently replaced.

The long story:
After nearly rounding the hex head with a socket wrench, I moved up to a hand impact wrench. And completely rounded it.  ;D   At that point there was not much to loose so I grabbed the next smallest socket and hammered it onto the soft brass, making a SOLID fit. Then using the rachet with a pry bar I managed to get about a 1 millimeter turn on it.  So reversed my force and tightened it back 1 millimeter. and back and forth I went until after about 10 minutes I got a full turn and it broke loose and I was able to unscrew it all the way out.  

Tomorrow I'll wire brush the threads which are a little crusty and finish rebuilding the carb.  I'm hoping rebuilding the carbs solved the power loss issue I asked about my previous thread.

Just can't say thanks enough for all the help from everyone.  I'll definitely be hitting the donate button shortly.
