Fuel Taps
« on: July 13, 2026, 07:35:02 PM »
A couple of weeks ago I decided that the R100 had been vegitating too long on the back porch so I pushed it into the yard and gave it a washing.  Man, a few years covered with dust relly dulled the shine so I will need to get out the polisher...  I then pulled and dumped the tank as the gas was pure varnish and then I found the fuel petcock "straws" had disintegrated! and would not pass anything.  I found some older style petcocks on FleaBay and ordered a pair.  They don't have a "sock" over the tubes but do have the dual level tubes and a strainer in the outlet.  I put them on and as soon as my new bowl gaskets get here I'll dump in some gas and see what happens.

I might actually take it for a spin around the neighborhood!!!

Here's what I bought:

For $14 and change I thought they were a steal!
