OEM BMW Parts
« on: June 09, 2023, 12:12:36 PM »
Finally found the problem with hard cold starting with my '02 R1150R .
Bad intake air temp sensor, finally failed open .
Checked the local dealers to see if they had one in stock, no luck, none available in North America .
Ordering from Germany looks like 6-10 weeks .
Called an aftermarket seller Euro Motoelectrics in the Denver, Colorado area, had two in stock .
Had very good transactions with them over the years .
The price they quoted me was $35 and shipping costs, all the other dealers I contacted quoted me prices of $85-$105 for the same part .
What a scam !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
'81 R65
'82 R65 LS
'84 R65 LS
'87 Moto Guzzi V65 Lario
'02 R1150R
Riding all year long since 1993 .
I'll give up my R65, when they pry my cold dead hands from the handlebars !!!!!

Always have good luck with them.
It takes a lot of different people to make a world.
