What do the two holes at the bottom of r65 rear guard hook up to.

Hi !
If you refer to the two small holes at the front bottom, they plug in two prongs on the tube just above the swing arm.
Bear in mind that these metal prongs are covered by two small rubber tubes in order not to cut the resin rear guard....

The two holes are for a fender extension .
I looked on a BMW motorcycle parts site and could not find it on any model of bikes .

Bob - My R100RT had a rear flap extension on it when I bought it but it was down right fugly so I immediately removed it!  I would bet they were an accessory item...

If you buy a new rear mudguard, there is no holes for a rear flap.
So if yours has two, the flap was installed at some point and removed later...
