Adventure tires

I’m thinking about trying 4.00 TKC 70 Continentals rear and 100/90 Pirelli Scorpion Trail II front.  Am I crazy?

Locally the sport bike kids fit scorpion trail IIs during the cane crushing season because they handle leaf litter so well.

An 80/20 Bitumen/dirt tyre that offers amazing grip and good life.

I run them front and rear on my R1150GSA and KLE500. When the current sport demon tyres wear out on the 860 I may well fit them to that as well.

I don't think you are mad, my question would be why bother with the tkc-70, just fit scorpion trail IIs front and rear

They don’t make them in the right size.

The 18" fit is limited I see.

Bugger!

In fact it looks like the only 18" rear is 150/70
Sadly a tad wide for the R65.
