1983 R65 for sale- Very Nice

This forum was a huge help in the rebuild of my dads R65. Because of personal reasons I no longer ride and this beauty needs a good home.

1983 BMW R65, second owner. Approx 7500 actual miles. Less than 1500 miles on total tune up: Carbs rebuilt, valves adjusted, every fluid and filter changed, new front and rear wheel bearings and seals, new tires, fork oil and seals replaced. Everything works and is in great condition. No leaks.

Includes original tool roll, owners manual, and a BMW cable lock that stores in the frame tube under the tank.

Needs to go to a good home. Its pretty much a new old bike.

Good luck with the Sale!  You may not get any bites now in the dead of winter, but if you are patient I bet you'll get some significant interest in a couple months.

I am probably going to be putting up my R100/7 for sale this Spring time -- I have 4 bikes in the garage now and this Spring time I gotta make room for an R69S with a sidecar... and it just won't fit with the (2) cars and all the other crap in the garage now
