Bing gasket (Viton replacement)

I managed to mangle a new cork gasket whilst installing. Bearing in mind I can repair SMD parts on modern motherboards and have a steady hand and have swapped a pair of these at least once a year due to expansion/contraction I had enough!

Can't seem to get pre-cut versions here and 1.5mm Viton is very easy to cut so here we go:

You seem to be a dude with too much free time.  That looks "fiddly" in a major way!   I usually keep a good supply of these on-hand and order a couple with every Moto-Bins order I make...

The  viton gaskets are available cheaply from John Olive in the Airheads downunder pages

But, kudos for a fairly neat homebrew gasket.  Mine usually come out looking like a three year old carved them out with a dull spoon!

Mine too Justin. Although I will admit to being amazed that the one I made with nail scissors from the side of a cardboard wine cask when a few hundred kilometres from civilisation actually worked well enough to get me home.
