Got an email today from Mick, he has updated his blog, with his travels through Nepal, Pakistan,India ,Iran and is currently in Turkey, slowly making his way west .

I checked his blog, and the latest update is from January this year, I was expecting a little more current update !

Thinks he'll be back home in 3-4 weeks, depending on the weather on the European continent.

He started this adventure in August '06, he will have spent 20 months 'on the road'.

Recieved an email today from Mick , he was on a ferry from Belguim to Scotland, he should be home sometime Sunday.

Can't wait to get home.

His blog should be updated in the next week or so with the final part of the trip, and his overall view of what he has accomplished.

No mention of any problems with the R65 since his ignition problem about a year ago.

This is an old thread, but an interesting one, ran across it this morning at work .
I'm going to try and contact him and get him to complete the trip in his blog .
